Chapter NineTheme: Appearance vs. RealityQuotation: "With a little ingenuity and vision, he had made it all but impossible for anyone in the squadron to talk to him, which was just fine with everyone, he noticed, since no one wanted to talk to him anyway."He thought since no one is talking to him he don't have to start a conversation with anyone. He was so crazy that people really don't understand him at all. Actually, this point has truly became an appearance and more like an assumption.

2.) Chapter TenTheme: Isanity as the Sane Choice of ActionQuotation: "There is no light. I don't feel like starting my generator. I used to get a kick out of saving people's lives. Now I wonder what the hell's the point, since they all have to die anyway." In this quote he was talking about how he saved people lives with a light but unfortunatley it did not work. So he has come to insanity because he think a light can save anyone.

3.) Chapter ElevenTheme: Hyperbolic PatriotismQuotation: "The important thing is to keep them pledging," he explained to his cohorts. "It doesn't matter whether they mean it or not."
No matter what they do as long as they keep pledging he would be saitsfied but if they don't then why are they still here?

1.Actually I wouldn't because some choices that Yossarian has chosen was a little cowardly but the only power he has discovered is joining the war. Me personally I wouldn't join the war but putting myself in his position would be hard for to make the decisions on how to give my life to the world to save my country but to me what is the main topic of fighting this war, to get freedom or oil. Honestly I don't know how to answer that question but I do know that the military could be powerful on some circumstances that would end the war but how can we, when we don't know what the military is capable of. Now some of the things that we can fight for is freedom, religion is something that we have. To me how is it freedom when you can't really say anything when offending somebody. Then you have to go to court because you said something that you felt. Me personally I don't really understand that.

2. I agree with him because you can say no to anyting and anybody. what ever right you stand for go with it. his philosophy is agreeable but just we like we doing everyone has a freedom of opinion

Blog Two

#1.What is the difference between the two conversation?

The conversations between Orr and Yossarian it was a little weird because Orr was talking about he putting crab apples in his cheeks to make his cheeks bigger. It was a little odd to Yossarian because he didn't understand the concept of the situation. Neither did I. Also for Yossarian it was hard for him to understand because he still sound like he had the crab apples in his cheek. The conversations was way different then the other ones because actually they made since. In the last conversation he and the other guy was trying to figure out who murdered who and why. But Yossarian said it was because he was a black man.



#2.How does Yossarian's role change?

When Yossarian was talking to Orr it was more cool and collected and less like an ass or should I say less of a know it all type of person. Even though he didn't understand the situation or the thoughts Orr was going through in his head to put crab apples. He seemed less interest than trying grasp information in the inconvenient situation he had going on with his cheeks.



#3 What do some of the characters feel about Yossarian?

Some of the characters feel about Yossarian that they really like him or wants to hear what he has to say but honestly sometimes he speaks the truth so far that I have read and I enjoy reading about him and his crew.

My Opinion

"If I had not been to School I should not be the great man I am now," or else "If I had been to school I should be even greater than I am." Basically what this quote meant was if he went to school or didn't finish he is greater in his own aspect to know the qualities of life and some of things that he had or has accomplish. What I agree with him is that I am that greater person because I am vigorous, by knowing how to balance things in my life. For example without education I wouldn't be writing this blog or such adding,multiplying problems or even solve problems within my peers. Education is hard work but it is worth going through. Why waiste your time on nothing when you can get something in life.


In the secon paragraph this is what he was talking about but I will tell you how I feel about it.
We work too hard, and many die under the strain; and then to make up for that we play with a violence as suicidal. How some people work under the influence when they don't work at all. But when some people work it do bring some type of stress and realization this is real.How can people make pleasure when it's something they want or what they need. Just like he said you drink to much but how do you know drank to much when you fall over. That is how we work our body when we work real hard but really don't know you tired until finally you become realxed.Mainly is realization.
